Manali, also famous for its angoora shawls. This picture was clicked at one of the locations in outskirts of manali where these rabbits are reared for angoora wool.
Hot water springs in manikaran are supposed to have medicinal value. Manikaran also famous for its gurudwara and shiv temple. Its around 60 kms from Manali.
The pictures were clicked while we were on the move. I expected lil blur images but the digi cam did well to capture them in moving car. Lighting, which is an important factor in photography was not upto the mark. Click them and enlarge them to have a full view. On the contrary, Rohtang Pass is only placed which is worth watching in and around Manali.
This picture was clicked in Manali. These dogs were really having a good time. They were just least bothered about me , capturing them in my cam. No reactions whatsoever !! What I liked about this picture was that they were in thier individual but natural poses.
Municipal Garden / Van Vihar, Manali Van Vihar is situated in front of Tibetan market on mall road, Manali. The entry ticket per head is 5/- but I fail to understand what are they charging for. The garden is totally mismanaged. The pond you see in the picture is filled with algae and other submerged vegitation ( Although it looks good in the photograph ). You can even do boating in this small lake or pond ( whatever you call it ) . Charges 30 bucks for 15 mins. We went to the garden because we wanted to pass out time but never expected the garden in such shape. Only plus point was that it big deodar trees. Otherwise no proper maintainence. I don't see many places to visit in manali itself. Its just the valley which is worthwatching or adventure sports like paragliding and river rafting.
